In September, Caviar – known for its customized luxury devices – announced the customized Huawei Mate XT Ultimate in Black Dragon and Gold Dragon versions, with the latter covered in 24k gold. Now, the brand has unveiled another custom Mate XT Ultimate, but this one has an 18k gold body.

It looks the same as the Gold Dragon version but weighs around 1kg. It costs more than $100,000 (€95,890/₹8,539,350), and Caviar told us that it “was specially made in one piece in a limited edition for the extra-rich US customer,” which is why it’s not listed on their website.
The 24k gold model, launched with a starting price of $14,500 (€13,905/INR1,238,205), is now available with a base price of $17,340 (€16,630/INR1,480,725). Caviar will yield 88 units as 88 is considered a lucky number in Chinese culture.
The standard Mate XT Ultimate launched by Huawei weighs around 300 g and starts at CNY 19,999 ($2,740/€2,630/233,925 INR). It is currently exclusive to China, but the international launch is expected in the first quarter of 2025.
